Welcome to the Woofi platform ("Woofi", "we", "our"). Woofi is a digital platform that connects pet owners and pet caretakers. Woofi is solely an intermediary service - we do not provide pet care services directly.

By using the Woofi app or service, you agree to these terms of use and the privacy policy in its entirety.

2. NATURE OF THE PLATFORM AND DISCLAIMER

2.1 Intermediary Service

  • Woofi only acts as a technological platform for users to connect with each other

  • We are not a provider of pet care services

  • We are not an employer or intermediary for agreements between users

  • Users make agreements directly with one another at their own risk

2.2 Disclaimer

WOFFI IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Injuries or deaths of pets

  • Property damage

  • The quality of the service or disputes between users

  • Payment disputes between users

  • User actions or omissions

2.3 Users' Responsibility

Users act at their own risk and understand that:

  • They are fully responsible for their own decisions

  • They need to obtain the necessary insurance

  • They are responsible for all legal obligations

3. INDEMNIFICATION OBLIGATIONS

The user agrees to compensate Woofi for all damages, costs, and attorney fees resulting from:

  • The user's use of the service

  • Disputes between users

  • Breach of these terms

  • Claims made by third parties arising from the user's activity

4. USER ACCOUNTS AND OBLIGATIONS

4.1 Creating an Account

  • The user must be at least 18 years old

  • All information must be provided truthfully

  • The user is responsible for the security of their account

4.2 Prohibited Activities

  • Providing false or misleading information

  • Misuse of the platform

  • Harassment of other users

  • Illegal activity

4.3 Account Termination

Woofi may terminate the user account immediately without prior notice for breach of terms.

5. BACKGROUND CHECK POLICY

5.1 Limited Verification

  • Woofi verifies user profiles and requires a test to be completed

  • We do not perform background checks or other official verifications

  • Users are responsible for assessing the suitability of potential partners

5.2 Limitation of Liability

Woofi is not responsible for:

  • The accuracy of profile information

  • User behavior after completing the test

  • User suitability for pet care

  • User's past or background

6. PAYMENT TERMS AND FEES

6.1 Platform Fees

  • Woofi charges a fee for mediated services

  • Fees are automatically deducted from payments

  • Fees may change with 30 days' notice

6.2 Payments

  • Payments are processed through third-party payment processors

  • Users are responsible for any payment fees

  • Refunds are processed between users - Woofi is not responsible for refunds

7. PRIVACY POLICY

7.1 Data Collection

We collect the following information:

  • Registration details (name, email, phone number)

  • Profile information and images

  • Location data (with user consent)

  • Usage data and communication on the platform

  • Payment information (processed through a third party)

7.2 Data Usage

  • Dispute resolution: Helsinki District Court

  • We strive to resolve disputes amicably first

9. CHANGES TO THE SERVICE AND TERMINATION

9.1 Changes to Terms

  • We may change these terms with 30 days' notice

  • Continued use of the service means acceptance of the new terms

9.2 Termination of Service

  • Woofi may terminate the service with 60 days' notice

  • Users may terminate their use of the service at any time

10. OTHER PROVISIONS

10.1 Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

These terms are governed by Finnish law. All disputes will be settled in the Helsinki District Court.

10.2 Validity of Terms

If any provision is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.

10.3 Entire Agreement

These terms constitute the entire agreement between Woofi and the user.
